AI models and our art

Two models find the figure in your picture. They run in your browser, and they never make or change images.

• SAM 2.1 (tiny) by Meta, under the Apache License 2.0 (source).
• BiRefNet by Peng Zheng and co-authors, under the MIT License (source). Figurekeep uses its lite model: our own fine-tune of it, or the lite model as published on phones that use their graphics and on computers with little graphics memory. On computers with a strong graphics card it can also use the full model.

Our example characters, free try pack, ring art, crests, ornaments and some effect sprites were made with an AI image tool on our own computer, then finished by us. Figurekeep never makes AI art from your picture: it finds your figure and cleans the cut edge.

Open-source software

The app is built with these packages. The list is made from their own package data each time the site is built.
